contrast to copper cables, optical cables work even under the most difficult conditions. The fiber optic cables do not affect the electronics. The low attenuation of the optical cables also allows long distances to be bridged.

Highest transmission range and speed
With fiber optic cables you not only achieve a multiple of the gigabit speeds of copper cables, but also transmission distances of 100 km and more.

Highest data security
A signal that is transmitted by light wave cannot be received remotely, but only physically via the fiber optic cable itself. This property makes it the most attractive transmission medium for authorities, banks and other institutions with sensitive data.

Maximum security against electromagnetic influences
Fiber optic cables do not contain any metal and are therefore ideal for installation in areas with electromagnetic interference (EMI). This includes near power lines, areas with a high risk of lightning strikes, or near railroad tracks.

LC connector
The Lampert Connectior (LC) is the most widely used connector type in the fiber optic area. It is mainly used because of its compact design, as it is roughly similar to the RJ15 components used in copper technology. The LC connector has a ferrule diameter of 1.25 mm and impresses with an insertion loss of only 0.1 dB and a return loss of 55 dB.

Reliable data transmission - multimode OM3
So that fiber optic cables can be used for Gigabit Ethernet, 10 Gigabit Ethernet and 100 Gigabit Ethernet, the quality of fiber optic cables is classified similar to the class specifications of copper cables.
An OM3 cable has a laser-optimized 50µ fiber with 2000 MHz / km effective modal bandwidth. The data transfer is designed for 10 GBit / s.

Duplex cable
Duplex refers to the use of two channels. Duplex cables are mainly used in access networks and use the two wires for sending and receiving.
